How it works
1
Ask on the order confirmation page
Asked after the order is placed, so checkout stays untouched.
2
Match the answer to the channel
A “Streaming TV” answer triggers one follow-up. Channel names suggest as the buyer types.
3
Read orders by channel
Credited orders roll up by channel, so you can compare channels from the same flight.

GOOD AMERICAN
United States · June 2022

“Fairing has become our go-to for understanding where customers actually first heard about us (and when) and collecting other insights we’re in need of. Super simple to set up - it’s helped us make sharper calls on where to spend, especially when we know customers are shopping cross channel. The team are brilliant too: quick to reply and genuinely helpful.”
MOTHER ✸ ROOT
United Kingdom · October 2026

“We were previously on Kno which is a solid place to start not thinking too much of the Post Purchase Survey until I got a walk through of Fairing. Their integrations and the data you can pull and connect to are next level. If you are looking to get a way better understanding of your attribution and the ability to connect these data points to all your channels this is the tool for you.”

What merchants think (Shopify’s review summary): “Merchants say this app is extremely easy and fast to set up, delivering highly trusted ‘how did you hear about us?’ and first-touch attribution data. … Support is described as elite, strategic, and very responsive.”

How is Fairing different from other post-purchase survey apps for TV?
Most survey apps can ask a follow-up after “TV.” The difference is where the answer options come from and where the answer goes. Channels from your live Vibe campaigns sync into Fairing’s TV list daily, one list feeds every question that needs it, and answers that credit a selected TV option are sent back to Vibe as conversions.
Does this work if we buy TV through Tatari, MNTN or Roku?
Yes. The question runs on your store after checkout, so it works wherever you buy TV. Vibe is the one TV platform that syncs channels into the list automatically today. For the others, paste your channel list, up to 1,000 rows at a time, and edit it in one place.
How do I track sales from connected TV ads?
Ask the buyer. A post-purchase survey asks how they heard about you, then which streaming channel, so it needs no pixel, QR code or device graph. That matters on CTV, where a CIMM study found IP-to-postal household links were 13% accurate on average.
How accurate is a self-reported answer?
It’s a sample: the buyers who answer, and what they remember. Fairing asks on the order confirmation page while the purchase is fresh. Fairing doesn’t see impressions or reach, and it doesn’t measure lift on its own, so read it next to your platform reporting, lift tests and MMM.
What if the buyer doesn’t remember the channel?
They don’t need the exact name. Channel names suggest as the buyer types, so a partial name finds the right channel, and a buyer who only remembers “TV” can still answer. A write-in that exactly matches a channel on your list is recategorized automatically. Matching for misspelled write-ins is coming soon.
How many questions does a buyer have to answer?
Usually one question and one follow-up. Long channel lists stay quick to answer, because channel names suggest as the buyer types and a partial name finds the right one.
Does Fairing work for ecommerce brands that aren’t on Shopify?
Yes. Fairing runs on Shopify’s Thank You and Order Status pages and Shopify POS, plus WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Recharge and headless stores through a Web SDK.
