Own the measurement strategy for our top ~250 accounts, reporting directly to the CEO. An individual contributor role for someone who builds systems, not someone who works tickets.
About Fairing
We built a post-purchase survey tool in 2018 to help an ecommerce founder measure influencer campaigns after conventional tracking stopped working. More than 3,000 brands run Fairing today. We are profitable, backed by $4.5M from True Ventures, and we have grown 8x since 2021 with a small New York team on a hybrid schedule.
About the role
This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the CEO. You will own the relationship and the measurement strategy for our top ~250 customers, who account for close to 40% of revenue. You are not working a ticket queue. You are building strategic partnerships with sophisticated marketers and translating their business goals into measurement frameworks they can act on.
Your first 90 days
Take over strategic accounts from the founders and our product manager, and put a consistent quarterly business review rhythm in place.
Audit the annual renewal process and turn it into something repeatable.
Answer measurement strategy questions from customers through the channels we already run.
Build the first workflows, automations, and reference material that let a small team deliver enterprise-quality service across hundreds of accounts.
What you will own
Diagnosing measurement gaps and tightening survey design so the data answers the question the brand is actually asking.
Using cross-industry benchmarks to make specific, defensible recommendations.
Driving net revenue retention by finding expansion before the customer asks, and opening new product conversations.
Designing scalable processes that use data and tooling to extend the team’s reach.
What we are looking for
3 to 10 years in marketing measurement. Ideally you have run media or measurement on the brand side, or held a strategic role at a martech company or agency.
A track record of building something concrete: a system, a process, or a model that outlived your involvement.
The ability to explain a complicated measurement concept to an executive without flattening it.
Commercial instincts. You think about value realization and growth, not just satisfaction scores.
US work authorization. We are not able to sponsor visas for this role.
Compensation and logistics
$110,000 to $140,000 USD base salary.
0.10% to 0.25% stock options.
Hybrid in New York City, three days a week in the office.
Interview process
30 minutes with a founder.
60-minute product and measurement working session.
45-minute conversation on finance and commercial thinking.
