Two Powerful Events for Better Attribution
The integration sends two distinct types of events to Meta:
1. Fairing Question Response Event
This event fires automatically whenever a response is received on any active question in your Fairing surveys. It provides a comprehensive view of all customer interactions.
2. Fairing Attribution Response Event
This specialized event fires specifically when a customer selects 'Facebook' or 'Instagram' as their answer to your attribution question. This gives you precise data about which Meta platforms are driving your conversions.
Simple Setup Process
Getting started with our Meta CAPI integration takes just a few minutes:
Step 1: Locate Your Meta Pixel ID
Find your Pixel ID in the Meta Events Manager:
Navigate to Events Manager > Overview
Look under Events Manager > Data Source > Settings > Dataset ID
Step 2: Generate an Access Token
Within the Meta Events Manager:
Go to Events Manager > Data Source > Settings
Find the 'Conversions API' section
Click 'Generate access token'
Step 3: Configure in Fairing
Enter your Pixel ID and Access Token in Fairing, then select your attribution question and the Facebook/Instagram response options you want to track.
Step 4: Confirm Your Custom Events in Meta
For the integration to work properly, you'll need to confirm the custom events in Meta:
Wait for your first events to appear in Meta (typically 20-30 minutes after responses are received)
Look for a banner in your Events Manager and click "Review"
Select both Fairing events and click "Next"
Choose "Confirm the custom event" and click "Confirm"
Once confirmed, your Fairing events are ready to use with Meta ads features!
Viewing Your Event Data
Both Fairing events will appear under Data Sources > Overview in the Events table of your Meta Events Manager.
